I was 13 when the towers were attacked in 2001, this day made me realize how proud I am to be an American.

Nice post. Love the picture. I still remember the quiet in the skies for the week following 9-11 because air traffic was grounded. When I saw my first plane again, I was thrilled. That week had seemed so dark and hopeless. Planes flying again gave me hope that our country would pick up the pieces and heal.
