16 Days until Halloween! I coach gymnastics so I have about 30 “kids” and I love coming up with a cute treat for them that is inexpensive. So for $7 I was able to make 55 Ghostly Treats (I am sure you’ve received one or made one before).
Step One: Buy Tootsie Pops or Blow Pops $2.49 a bag (about 24 in a bag)
Step Two: Buy Black Elastics (I like them better than tape or ribbon)
Step Three: Cover Lollypops
Step Four: Draw two eyes and a mouth

Did you use tissues to cover the lollipops?
Yep! Just your average tissue. Be careful using the sharpie it bleeds fast!
They’re cute!
How cute! Halloween isn’t a tradition here yet, but spreading steadily. Maybe I can use this idea just in case some children do ring our doorbell. If not, I’ll just have to eat the lollipops all by myself …
Where are you from?
Hey Meghan! I’m from Germany, where Halloween has become quite popular during the last years. It is mostly celebrated by grown-ups having fancy-dress halloween parties, though, not so much by children. But I live in a town with a big US-military population, so a few children go trick-or-treating and do get candy if they’re lucky! There are similar German traditions including dressing up and playing tricks – that might be the reason for the rather slow spread around here. Or maybe it’s just my area, might be different in a big city!
Such a cute idea
And so easy! I might have to make a few for the little girl that I nanny for!
