Light of my Life

baby bailey

Hello World! My name is Logan Wes and I was born on February 4th!

7 lbs 9 Oz and 20 Inches long

…sadly my little man has been in the Nicu with an infection from swallowing
meconium as well as battling hypoglycemia. It’s been a very hard week,
emotionally and physically.

I will be writing a birth story shortly but I wanted everyone to know he has arrived and is beautiful! He’s a fighter, everyday in the NICU he gets better.

stay tuned….

  1. So glad that you are well and have faith that it will all work out. I’ve been waiting to hear your news :-) Can’t wait to hear more about it. We’re expecitng our first little one in July. I feel like it will go by so quickly! It was nice to have your baby blog to read along with!

    • It will only feel like it went by fast when your little one is actually here :)… Being pregnant feels like it’s taking forever lol.

Thanks for following along. Once we get him healthy and out of the NICU I’ll be one happy mom.

  2. Congrats and prayers! I know its hard, my son was in the NICU for a while with similar issues and he’s turning 2 in a week! From here on out time flies! Enjoy it <3

  3. Congratulations! Just wanted to let you know that my second little man started out in the NICU with hypoglycemia and he is now an off-the-charts-big, healthy, happy, funny, smart, strong, wonderful 22-month-old who is unstoppable! Logan will be home with you before you know it :-)

  4. He is so cute! Congratulations! My little nephew was in the NICU for a while after he was born, but pretty soon he was a happy, healthy fellow and the whole NICU experience just seemed like a little plot twist in the story of his birth. Praying that this plot twist goes very quickly for you, and that the rest of his story is as wonderful as he is!!

  5. He’s beautiful! Congratulations! I also had a similar situation with my 1st and she is a bright, beautiful 13 yr old now! Will remember you in my prayers!

  6. Seems like you just announced you were pregnant and now he’s here. I am so happy for you. The best of your life is now beginning. Enjoy it, every single second, it goes by too quickly. I hope you gets better and will be in my prayers.

  7. He’s beautiful! Congratulations! When my son was born he didn’t cough up all the fluid in his lungs and developed pneumonia and was in the NICU for a week. I’ll keep you in my prayers he’s going to be great.
